Jill Amorosano is mostly a self taught artist who has enjoyed diving back into art.  A teacher by trade she now has the opportunity to pursue a career in art, a hobby of hers for many years. She has taken courses and is currently doing so to hone her artistic skills further. She holds a Bachelors & Masters degree in education. 

Among the many art classes she has had the opportunity of teaching to both children and adults include:  Plein Air, Cartooning, Acrylic Paintng, 20th Century Masters, Ukrainian Egg Decorating and Art Rocks.  Mrs. Amorosano is accomplished in a number of different artistic styles including water colors, sketching, and her choice medium; oil. Her subjects are vast and range from landscapes to portraits of people, pets, and homes.

She is a frequent exhibitor at many New York venues and has had her work published in local papers. For the past two years she has won awards for her artwork at the Long Island Fair.  This year she will exhibit her work at solo shows for the first time.  Being and avid outdoors person she loves her subjects to be as colorful as the nature that surrounds us.

Mrs. Amorosano has also had the distinction of having her artwork selected by the local church for publication purposes and is currently working on a children's book, which she will also illustrate. She is a member of various art organizations and gives to the arts.  Another noteworthy endeavor of hers will be working with Splashes of Hope an organization that paints murals for sick children in hospitals.

Through JADA ART Inc. she looks forward to bringing her artistic talents to a wider audience and makes her artwork available for purchase. She also specializes in custom works as requested by her clients. Mrs. Amorosano resides on Long Island, New York and maintains a gallery and studio in her home.
